Interested in presenting your research beyond LMU? Consider applying for the conferences below
NCUR The National Conferences on Undergraduate Research, established in 1987, is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of young scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all corners of the academic curriculum. Through this annual conference, NCUR creates a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement, provides models of exemplary research and scholarship, and helps to improve the state of undergraduate education.

SCCUR The Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research is broadly multi-disciplinary, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and applied sciences. Students present their scholarly work either in 15-minute seminar presentations chaired by faculty moderators (with 3 minutes for Q & A and two minutes to transition to the next talk) or in poster sessions. Students apply to present their work by submitting a proposal in the form of a brief abstract, limited to 300 words. Abstracts are reviewed by faculty from appropriate disciplines at participating institutions and accepted, returned for revision, or declined. Undergraduate students who wish to present their faculty-mentored research or scholarly/creative activity at SCCUR must complete the abstract submission by early October 2017. Students and faculty mentors must also register for the conference.
